Kennel Operation – Ordinance No. 972

AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO OWNING, MAINTAINING, OR OPERATING KENNELS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS TERMS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF EASTBOROUGH, KANSAS:

Section 1. Kennels.

No person shall own, maintain, or operate any kennel for the purpose of breeding or raising dogs, nor thereafter establish any dog hospital within the corporate limits of the City of Eastborough.

Section 2.

Any person who either fails to comply with or violates any provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon first conviction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $50; any subsequent conviction of the same person shall be punishable by a mandatory fine of $50 for each offense.
